Oregon Wine University® offers a variety of fun and unique classes that allow you to better understand, pair and treasure the full breadth and depth of Oregon wines. Whether you are new to wine tasting or a longtime expert, the Oregon Wine University® classes and engaging instructors are sure to lead you to be a more astute wine lover.


Classes are for patrons 21 years of age or older.

Do you love bubbles? Have you ever wondered what the difference is between an expensive bottle of Champagne and a bottle of sparkling wine? Join us after hours as we take over Harry & David Country Store. Celebrate with the talented team at Harry & David as we travel the world within the walls of the store through our bubble filled glasses and delicious culinary creations, learning about the different styles, how they are made and what bites and flavors marry well.

Join us as Lisa Sherrill, a Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park trained Chef and Co-Chair of the Oregon Wine University takes us behind the scenes at SOU. Come learn about the many ways that wine can be incorporated with a meal and simple techniques to take flavors to a whole new level. Due to the hands-on nature of this class, students should come prepared to slice, dice, cook, eat and drink. Only 14 seats are available for this intimate class.
