The Spice of Life – Cooking with Wine
Saturday, March 31, 10 am – Noon

Southern Oregon University | 1250 Siskiyou Blvd | Ashland, OR

“I like to cook with wine…sometimes, I even put it in the meal!”

Join us as Lisa Sherrill, a Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park trained Chef and Co-Chair of the Oregon Wine University takes us behind the scenes at SOU. Come learn about the many ways that wine can be incorporated with a meal and simple techniques to take flavors to a whole new level. Due to the hands-on nature of this class, students should come prepared to slice, dice, cook, eat and drink. Only 14 seats are available for this intimate class.

Bordeaux & Budbreak
Sunday, April 15, 3 pm – 4:30 pm

Serra Vineyards | 222 Missouri Flat Road | Grants Pass, OR

Join us at the start of the growing season, as the vines are just waking from their winter slumber. Come explore the various traits of the five classic Bordeaux varieties at different sites and taste the expressions of these grapes grown in different soils and conditions. Explore with us the similarities and differences between the two regions and how we can learn from their storied 2,000 years of experience making world-class wine.
