About

It’s all about wine and grapes for us, but not just any wine and grapes.  Our passion is wine from grapes we know were grown naturally, managed responsibly, and minimally crafted.  So we decided to do it ourselves.  Our family found a young vineyard in the beautiful Southern Oregon Applegate Valley to try our hand at growing and crafting clean, natural, uniquely terroir driven grapes and wine.  It’s the perfect size for hands on farming set amid the Siskiyou Mountain range, and the Applegate Valley.  Now comfortably settled in with a couple harvests under our belts, a fully implemented ecological farming plan, our very own estate vintages to offer, and a newly renovated tasting room now open, we couldn’t be happier.  Co-owner Laloni Cook manages the tasting room and all customer service, and is available for all inquiries.   A Pacific Northwest native, she grew up splitting time between Port Angeles, Washington and Grants Pass, Oregon and still calls both home.  Co-owner Noah Lowry comes from a farming and ranching background and somehow finds time to manage the family ranch in California along with the vineyard.

After nearly a decade of events and fundraising to support children’s health care programs, Asante Foundation will no longer host Oregon Wine Experience® (OWE). After close evaluation of the overall investment and return, OWE is no longer financially viable as a fundraising event in a post-pandemic economy.

We extend our immense gratitude to every sponsor, vendor, winery, volunteer and guest who helped make OWE a reality.
